I am so freaking sick & tired of rain EVERY damn week! It's not normal! It's been going on since last year! It's the primary reason why I haven't been going out much on my days off because the bus stop nearest me has no cover. And there's no cover between certain bus stops & various other locations I have to walk to.

I feel your pain, there is a bus stop near where I live that has no shelter. But our weather has been more tranquil that yours, except July 1, 2019, that afternoon through evening, we had a nasty thunderstorm. At one point the thunder was continuous one right after the other, then a while later one bolt was so close it sounded like the 4th of July then. There even was a tornado in N. E. Portland that caused damage. We had another thunderstorm an week and a half earlier. We haven't seen a 90 degree day yet and not expected to.

We had a hurricane downpour last week. I was at work and stayed inside until it died down.

Ever try to do yard work in the rain? Can't be done, Even mowing the lawn is impossible. I rather have a nice sunny day with now rain for at least three days to mow the lawn. I got weeds up to my ying yang in my garden. I would like to have a picnic outside on my picnic table, but not in the rain.

No. But I collect the carts in the rain a lot at work! I was out there when Superstorm Sandy made landfall! We're supposed to get rain the next several days.

Hurricane Laura rammed through Louisiana early August 27, 2020 causing major damage and is now heading East toward Ohio and Washington D. C. as a tropical storm. Heavy rain can be expected in its path.

Tropical storms are nothing compared to hurricanes. Maybe it'll ruin some hair.
Those who think rain is good and that we need MORE rain should get their heads examined! It's because of the constant rain that my dad got seriously injured over a month ago! He slipped & fell on the front porch and fractured some of his vertebrae & broke a rib thanks to the constant rain!

Be thankful you don't have our weather, sunny one time, then very thick smoke from wild fires the next. Air quality is very poor right now.

Our weather this past few weeks has been very nice and sunny, we even had a record high last Sunday of 83 degrees. However, this weekend will be a different story. I know you hate it but here in the Pacific Northwest, we need it badly, RAIN.

Mother Nature hit us with what I call a Reverse Hot Flash this week. Instead of getting warm, it got COLD! Like in need of jackets & long pants cold.

We are now in need of some rain, no matter how much we get we need it, we are now in moderate drought. The thought of cancelling fireworks in our area is now real. As of now, we are over 9.99 below normal for the year and almost that for the water year.

Well guess what, we had a bucket of rain last weekend in a thunderstorm. Now it's dry again and going to get hot in the 90s.

To many of the customers at my work, less than a week is NOT a drought! And that was during the two years where we had rain virtually every damn week!

Drought huh? Guess what, we in the Pacific Northwest are now in the midst of a big drought. The area I'm in is in moderate drought, while poor California is in an excessive drought. Now we have a major heat wave coming this weekend with temperatures well in to the 100s.

We just had an historic record high temperature of 112, while Portland, Oregon had a record high of 116. Now I hear that some place in Canada had a high of 121. That's nuts.

We've had heat index soaring past 120˚ in Virginia a lot in recent years. And I've spent a lot of time out in it thanks to work!

They keep calling for snow every damn week! I want to meet up with Bethany so we can see each other outside of cons for once and exchange Christmas gifts in person. But the damn weather doesn't seem to want us to!

We're still getting rain every bloody week! I tell other customers about the ones who said that we need more rain and claimed that we had droughts. They agreed that those people have forgotten that less than a week without rain is NOT a drought and that plants need sunlight to survive, too! They forgot that too much rain with very little to no sunlight can kill plants!

A customer this week tried to use the fact that frogs need rain as to why we need more rain! That showed he obviously hates sunlight and forgot that plants need sunlight, not just water, to survive. And frogs can live in lakes & other wet places to stay wet! We don't need rain every damn day!
Now it's gotten very hot outside!
